ABOUT LA GROTTA COLLECTIVE

La Grotta Collective is an affordable fine jewellery brand creating modern and timeless jewellery using freshwater pearls and 14k/18k solid gold.

Alexandra Cheung, founder of La Grotta Collective started the company in 2019 after a series of disappointing jewellery purchases that would tarnish after a few wears. By working directly with the pearl farms, and selling directly to customers, La Grotta Collective is able to offer high-quality pearl pieces without the tradition 7-10x mark up.

Whilst we are an international business, delivering across the world, we operate out of London, England.

OUR JEWELLERY

We use solid gold for all of our jewellery so that it is skin-friendly, tarnish-free and made to last a lifetime.

Pearls: All of our pearls are freshwater pearls sourced in Hong Kong and China. 95% of all freshwater pearls sold globally are cultured in China. By sourcing from China, we are able to offer the highest quality of freshwater pearl in a wide range of shape, size and colour.

Gold: All gold jewellery is made with 14k or 18k solid gold, in either Yellow Gold or White Gold

Custom orders can take anything between 3-8 weeks.

The best way to keep your pearl’s lustre is to wear them - the pearls will absorb the natural oils on your skin to keep themselves naturally moisturised

  • The general rule is to put your jewellery on last and take them off first. This will prevent perfume, creams or any other liquids to be applied directly to your jewellery


  • For daily care, gently wipe pearls with a soft cloth to remove any sweat, perfume or dirt before putting them away


  • We highly recommend that you store your jewellery in the La Grotta Collective packaging provided, and use the jewellery pouch included whilst travelling

  • To help protect the durability and high-quality of your jewellery, avoid exercising, swimming or bathing in your jewellery.


  • Keep your jewellery away from extreme temperatures, humidity or sunlight.


  • Avoid wearing your jewellery when using bleach, cleaning products and other chemicals

All jewellery purchased from La Grotta Collective will be repaired or replaced free of charge for up to 2 years.

Our warranty does not cover general wear & tear or lost gems.

We are also unable to return any items once they have been altered by a third party jeweller.

If you experience any breakage or damages with your jewellery, please email info@lagrottacollective.com with a photo of the issue and your order number.

SHIPPING AND EXCHANGES/REFUND

Our product will be dispatched within 1-3 working days of placing your order, and then take up to 14 business days to reach your doorstep depending on the shipping location.

Standard UK deliveries take 3-5 days once dispatched.

Standard International deliveries take 5-14 days once dispatched.

We will always try to make sure your jewellery is delivered within this timescale, however, occasionally due to issues out of our control, minor delays may be caused.

Shipping is free worldwide for your first order if you sign up for our email newsletter, otherwise, it will be calculated based on your shipping location.

You are entitled to a full refund within 14 days once the product has been received as long as the jewellery is not damaged and packaged in its original packaging.

If we do not receive the item in the said conditions, a refund cannot be made. We are not responsible for any returns lost in transit, which is why we recommend using an insured delivery method with tracking information.

Returns and exchanges are free for UK customers.

For International customers, La Grotta collective is not responsible for the shipping costs of your return or exchange item/s.

International shipping costs do not include any duties and taxes which may be applied by customs when your order arrives in your country.

You can obtain information on taxes, duties and customs regulations from your local customs office to determine if your order will incur any additional charges on entry to your country. Any duties or taxes incurred are the responsibility of the delivery recipient.
