- All Items purchased between November 12th, 2022 and December 25, 2022, may be exchanged or returned through January 8, 2023. All purchases made after December 25, 2022 are subject to the Standard Return Policy.

How much is shipping?
Delivery fees are calculated at checkout, based on your location.
What is your returns policy?
Please visit our returns page for all the information you need.
Do your prices include local duties/taxes?
All UK orders include local duties and taxes. Delivery to locations outside of the UK is not inclusive of additional fees, so please check with your local authority before ordering.
When will my order dispatch?
We dispatch orders Monday - Friday (excluding public holidays). It takes 1-2 business days to dispatch your order once it has been placed. If your order is urgent, please contact our customer service team to check if we can meet your desired timeline.
If your item is a pre-order or made-to-order, please check the product description for the estimated dispatch date.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping timings are as follows*:
UK Express: 1-2 working days
UK Standard: 3-5 working days
Europe Express: 2-3 working days
Europe Standard: 5-7working days
US Express: 2-3 working days
US Standard: 5-7working days
Rest of World: 5-10 workings days
Are your pearls and diamonds real?
Yes! Our designs use freshwater pearls that have been hand harvested, and sustainably sourced earth-mined natural diamonds.
Do you use solid gold?
Yes, all our pieces are made with either 14k or 18k solid gold, which is stamped.
Are your pearls cultured or natural?
99.9% of the pearls on the market today are cultured, including ours. Wild pearls are only available in vintage jewellery and come with an extremely high cost as they are so rare.
Do you work with lab-grown diamonds?
All of the diamond pieces in our permanent collection utilises natural diamonds. If you are interested in creating a piece using lab-grown diamonds, please email our customer service team at firstname.lastname@example.org. We can usually create a custom piece for you based on your specific request.
What's the difference between solid gold and gold-plated jewellery?
Solid gold jewellery is much more durable than gold-plated jewellery,
and lasts years in comparison. It is also naturally hypoallergenic which means it is very unlikely to cause any kind of reaction on your skin.
Can I sleep in my La Grotta jewellery?
Yes, it’s perfectly fine to sleep in your La Grotta jewels.
Can I swim in my La Grotta jewellery?
We don’t recommend wearing our jewellery when swimming in a pool or the sea, as the salt and chlorine can damage both solid gold and pearls.
Can I shower in my La Grotta jewellery?
You can shower in all our La Grotta pieces so long as you use mild soap. The only exception is pieces made with silk thread, like our Cara choker.
Water droplets will weigh down the thread and could cause damage, so we don’t recommend wearing this design in the shower or when swimming.
How do I look after my La Grotta jewellery?
To keep solid gold in top condition, rinse it carefully in warm soapy water and dry by wiping gently with a soft cloth.
Pearls should be put on after you have applied your perfumes or body lotions and can be wiped clean with a damp cloth when needed.
To ensure your diamonds always sparkle, we recommend having them professionally cleaned every 3-6 months.
What happens if my jewellery breaks?
All La Grotta jewellery is covered by our complimentary two-year guarantee. We will repair or replace any pieces bought within this period free of charge. This does not include jewellery damaged by general wear and tear, any altered jewellery or any lost gems.
If your jewellery is damaged, please contact us with a photo of the issue and your order number.
Can I choose the type of pearl shape I want?
Pearls are naturally produced so we do not have full control over the exact shape of the pearl. Depending on what you're looking for, we can try to source pearl shapes that meet as close as possible to what you're looking for. Please get in
touch with us via email.
Can I get one of your pieces in a different length?
Yes, most of our designs are customisable. Simple email us with your request.
Please note, this usually takes between 4-6 weeks.
Can you make a design in a different coloured gold?
Yes, we can create any of the designs on our website in white gold or rose gold if you’d prefer. Please email us with your request.
Can I commission you to create a bespoke La Grotta jewellery piece?
Yes, we’d love to collaborate with you to create a bespoke jewellery piece. Send us your ideas via email and we’ll help to make them a reality. You’ll be a key part of the design process and we’ll send
you pictures and videos every step of the way. From the moment we source the pearls, to the hand assembly in our workshop.
